MIRA Festival 2025 – Head of Production
For the 2025 edition of MIRA Festival—an international event dedicated to digital arts and electronic music held in Barcelona—I took on the role of Head of Production, overseeing the entire production process from planning to execution.
I was in charge of the infrastructure management and directly supervised the operations, technical, and artistic departments, ensuring smooth coordination across all areas of the festival.
This year’s edition featured a complex, multi-space layout, including:
-
Three main stages with live audiovisual performances
-
A dedicated area for art installations
-
An outdoor zone with food trucks, a restaurant area, and a curated shop
-
A 360º dome with immersive video projections
My responsibilities included:
-
Designing the full site layout, planning space distribution to optimize logistics, visitor flow, and technical operations
-
Acting as liaison with engineering teams to prepare and submit all technical documentation required for official permits
-
Creating and implementing a cost control system, managing supplier requests, comparing offers, and selecting service providers
-
Leading the setup and breakdown phases, ensuring timelines, technical standards, and safety requirements were met
-
Providing on-site production support during the event to manage operations and resolve any issues in real time
A high-scale project where detailed planning, multi-team coordination, and a strong operational mindset were key to delivering a successful edition.
