TURBINA – Production Support at Side Event of MIRA Festival
As part of the production team for TURBINA—a side event of MIRA Festival held in the iconic Tres Chimeneas of Sant Adrià de Besòs—I collaborated in the technical and logistical preparation of the event, contributing to both pre-production and on-site execution.
Set in one of Barcelona’s most emblematic industrial landmarks, the former power plant now undergoing cultural transformation, TURBINA featured light-based art installations and performances spread across multiple floors of this monumental space. With their 200-meter-high structures visible across the city, the Three Chimneys served as a striking backdrop for an immersive and unconventional artistic experience.
My contributions to the project included:
-
Drafting the site plans and layout diagrams necessary for the licensing and permits process, adapting the unique architecture of the venue to safety and operational requirements
-
Providing hands-on support during the final phase of setup, ensuring the technical elements of the production were implemented as planned
-
Assisting during the event, working closely with the production team to maintain smooth operations and resolve on-site challenges
TURBINA was a technically demanding and visually powerful event, where precision in planning and adaptability on site were essential to bring an ambitious artistic vision to life within a raw, industrial space in transformation.
